About
Born and raised in the city of bridges, I’ve spent my life immersed in the unique beauty and composition of Pittsburgh. While its harmonious balance of form and function inspired my passion for design, untangling its jumble of unintuitive roads sparked my love of problem solving. I’ve grown into a creative analyzer, strategic thinker, and user-centric designer. No matter the business challenge, I’ll uncover a solution that’s functional, elegant, and effortless.
After a full-time, hands-on internship at Blue Tomato Design, I began my career as a graphic designer at Prisma, Inc. I cut my design chops on site at our client H.J. Heinz North America, where I created print materials for multiple brands in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
I refined my web and digital design skills at UPMC and Garrison Hughes Design, working closely with the marketing and digital teams from conception through execution on internal and external websites, HTML emails, plus web and social media assets, following industry best practices for the optimum user experiences. Over time, I’ve segued more deeply into the digital environment, meshing my knowledge of branding, design, and UX/UI as a full-time freelance designer.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with clients of all sizes, from one-person start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, collaborating closely to achieve their visions, while introducing fresh ideas. I’m friendly, reliable, and open-minded (love brainstorming together!). A creative asset to any team, I strive to make work flow more efficiently and productively. I love learning and growing, both as a person and a designer, and look forward to grabbing hold of new opportunities.
